You are not going to believe this but...

Today Zoe@rewritten was nominating me for a blogging award at the same time I was nominating her for a different blogging award.  Coincidence, maybe, maybe not but I decided it was good karma none the less.  

Now down to the business at hand.  I am happily (grinning from ear to ear) accepting my Sisterhood of the World Bloggers Award from Zoe from rewritten.  Be sure and check out her post on her blog, maybe even follow her (winks at the readers).  Thank you, Zoe, so much, you don't know how much this means to me.  It is the little things that really make me feel appreciated.  I had no idea when I started blogging how long I would last.  Now, a year and one month later, I am still here, feeling more comfortable and gaining more confidence as I make my own way in the blogospere.  Whew! Okay, now on to the rules of the Award.

My New Award

My new friend Bethanne at Break My Wings, I Have a Broomstick Too! gave me an award a while back but thanks to facebook putting my messages in the "other" folder, I just now saw the message. 

I am supposed to tell you 7 things about myself and nominate 15 blogs but I think that would take me forever.  So, I will name 5 awesome blogs instead. How's that? 

7 Things About Me

1.  Last month I had my one year blogging anniversary.

2.  I was a extremely shy child.  I finally found my voice now as a blogger in my forties.  Something to say about getting older and wiser. *GRIN*

3.  I am overly sensitive, think too much, and care too much.

4.  The best decision I have ever made in my life is becoming a blogger.

5.  I live next door to my parents, good and bad!  I love them dearly, but sometimes they still feel the need to lecture me *frown* At least I know they love me *Hugs to my parents*

6.  I am about 10 classes away from getting my Bachelor degree in Public Health. I ran out of money to finish.

7.  I work full-time as an Administrative Services Assistant.
