May is Arthritis Awareness Month
Arthritis is a serious, painful and debilitating disease that is often misunderstood. It's the leading cause of disability. It affects adults and children.
Arthritis destroys joints, bones, and other connective tissues.
You know why I know, I am one of the faces of arthritis.
I was diagnosed a few years ago.
I have osteoarthritis in both my knees and in my hips.
I experience stiffness, swelling, and pain daily.
I am no longer able to stand or walk for long periods of time.
It has affected my ability to be more active. But with pain management I am still able to live a better life.
I have made the pledge to live better with arthritis and raise awareness, starting today.
Take the Pledge Now!
