Happy Weekend!
Hi Jamie. I went back and looked at your first 4 days of the challenge. I too am glad for the challenge to get me back to blogging. I agree that the little girl's bold speech is what we need more of, an open sharing of ideas and reasons for them. Do you find taking chances can be tough when you wrestle with the illness of depression? Your D word seems very appropriate considering your blog name. It's been awhile since I have been blogging, I hope to get back to visit again. Peace, Maria
ReplyDeleteAnd much Peace to you Maria. Blogging is what I love along with social media, so I am glad to be back at it :) Happy Blogging <3
DeleteSo sorry to hear that you're experiencing something else that is "not fun." I hope the sinusitis is soon cleared up.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing the Huff Post piece by Danny Baker. It is something people would benefit from reading. It would help them, and their depressed friends.
Blessings and Bear hugs!
I try to keep people informed. Knowledge is Power! Bear Hugs :)

Thank you, I hid my depression for many years. Then one day I decided I was not going to be quiet anymore. It is so freeing to be able to talk about it. <3
DeleteI admire you for writing about depression. I myself suffer from it but haven't really fleshed it out in my own blog. I agree 100% with the image in your post.
ReplyDeleteAnd about your sinuses, I hope you feel better soon.

Thank you! It took me many years to be able to talk about my depression. It is so freeing. Besides I am a talker and I always have something to say. Shy girl, quiet no more :) I feel much better since I broke down and went to the doctor after suffering for 2 months. Stubborn me :)
DeleteHi! I found your blog through the atozchallenge. I hope your sinus infection clears up soon. Thanks for blogging about depression. The more people that speak about it, the more we'll reduce the stigma associated with it! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks I feel much better now :) One day after many years of hiding my illness, I decided to blog. I am so happy that I can be a mental health warrior and continue the fight against stigma with so many wonderful people. Peace and Love <3
