Invisible Pain

Not only do I suffer from major depressive disorder so does my 16 year old daughter.  I have learned to live with it but it is much more severe for her.  Since she is so young, all she can think about is ending the pain with death.  Even though I have learned to deal with it a lot. I get frustrated with her.  She is so stubborn.  I am learning patience.  I have to learn to be a better listener, which I am working on an I must learn that yelling is not the answer.  Remember, with Depression, not all scars and pain shows but when it does please be patient and kind.  This too shall pass as long there is love and understanding of this silent illness.
